-Oversee and coordinate the annual 5-year business plan and quarterly forecasting of corporate overheads (headcount and all related SG&A) for 65 departments.-Responsible for the delivery and presentation of the Quarterly Flash Report, which aggregates and summarizes all administrative expense flux analyses, to our Senior Management team and for use in investor reporting (forecast vs. budget, forecast vs. prior year actuals, actuals vs. budget etc.).-Manage team of 3 Sr. Accountants including review of individual contributions to the Quarterly Flash Report, performance reviews, goal setting, professional development planning etc.-Partner with Corporate Accounting team to ensure actuals are being booked in line with budget/current forecast and assist with preparation and review of journal entries.-Build ad-hoc reports to help aid Senior Management decision making and present results of impromptu directives.-Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and create solutions to streamline results.

-Collaborate with Business Leaders to formulate their quarterly corporate overhead forecasts and yearly 5 year business plan projections.

-Managed the full cycle month-end close of our rental business segment and all related daily tasks.-Supervised and coordinated with Jr. Accountant to ensure timely bookings of journal entries.-Collaborated with VP of Special Projects to manage the books of new “managed-service” business initiative.-Utility player who helped the service (corporate) business segment with various tasks.-Maintained multiple roll-forward schedules and other various excel schedules.-Implemented new modules in existing accounting software as part of the special projects team.-Delivered solutions to partners that allowed them to make better-informed decisions as it relates to the rental segment of the business.

-Responsible for full cycle accounting of our Service/Corporate business segment. -Maintained all related schedules and rollforwards for the segment (fixed assets, prepaid expenses, lease - deferred rent etc.).-Processed sensitive/confidential partner, employee and investor related payments (ACH/Wire/Checks).-Collaborated with multiple segments to assist in the completion of our year-end audit as well as run point for a separate year-end audit for our escrow business unit.

An all-encompassing position responsible for the following:-Collaborated and communicated with executive management and senior managers on multiple ad-hoc projects (analyzing accounting processes for inefficiencies, identifying more cost-efficient alternatives, creating standard operating procedures for numerous tasks, and implementing new systems) -All aspects of the accounts payable function* -Balanced daily bank reconciliations (cash, checks, visa's and etc.)-Maintained our investment portfolio by posting interest payments, posting accruals, and updating the portfolio with any new or matured investments-Various month-end processing (fixed assets, prepaids, general ledger reconciliations and etc.)-Verification of outgoing wire-transfers*Familiarity with the accounts payable process, and the vendors we worked with, allowed me to analyze potential money-saving opportunities. In due time, I was able to save our credit union thousands of dollars by negotiating prices/terms with multiple vendors, working with other departments to become more efficient, and finding more cost-effective alternatives.
