Leader in the Air Force Medical Service for over 13 years as a healthcare construction owner’s representative and healthcare administrator with exemplary skill in project programming, scope development, source selection, and contract execution of turn-key projects through completion. I am passionate about serving our country as a Medical Service Corps Officer supporting the full continuum of care for those who sacrifice the most. I am also passionate about the programming, planning, design, construction, and outfitting of top-quality healthcare facilities that bring a sense of hospitality to the healthcare industry to reduce the fears and anxiety of patients seeking treatment as shown through evidence-based design.I have an undergraduate degree in building construction from Virginia Tech, focused on design and engineering as well as a minor in leadership after graduating from the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, a four-year 24/7 leadership laboratory. I have earned a master's in construction management from Texas A&M University where I focused the degree on healthcare and earned a certificate in healthcare systems and design.I have most recently served in medical resource management and logistics roles in an effort to take the knowledge of healthcare operations back to design and construction. In addition, I have learned about military medical readiness to better integrate appropriate planning into healthcare design in preparation for future pandemics or medical surges.
