Led the development of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) for Great Barrier Reef research. Additionally, supported a medium unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) used in remote firefighting, research, and defence. This role involved the redesign and implementation of 6DOF control, localization, guidance, and mission planning software for the AUV. We deployed and tested the AUV at multiple sites under adverse conditions, including a six-day mission in the open ocean.

Implemented a perception system to enhance the capabilities of the Boston Dynamics Spot robot. This involved developing a real-time, GPU-based elevation map (cost map) from scratch, using C++ and SYCL. Additionally, I contributed to various R&D efforts, including the miniaturization and cost reduction of Emesent's handheld 3D mapping system.
