Short term opportunity to support the forming a new Army Reserve Equipment Support Company in Bristol.

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director of an industry leading Technology Company and responsible for the safe, timely and efficient conduct of Time-lapse Camera system installations internationally.• Production of RA/MS for all Engineering operations across the Rail, Construction and Industrial sectors.• Liaison with Sales, Engineers and Clients in order to plan, allocate and implement work packages.• Direct Line Manager of five Full time Technicians and several freelancers.• Design, Implementation, and continuous review of an Engineering Management System that was approved by RISQS audit and enabled the Company to gain certification to work on Network Rail sites and sponsor Technicians under the SENTINEL system.• Continuous Review and Improvement of internal Company processes in order to improve efficiency and strengthen inter departmental critical communications.

• Responsible for the tasking and coordination of all company departments and contractors in support of maintaining day-to-day 24 hour availability and performance of all engineering and infrastructure assets on the Operational railway of the Jubilee, Northern, and Piccadilly line. • Preparation of detailed daily performance reports and failure investigations for Directors and Asset Managers.• Act as Engineering Co-ordinator for operational incidents, activating and co-ordinating maintenance and engineering resources on site as and when necessary.• Responsible as the Senior Engineering manager for all Engineering decisions throughout a 12 hour shift. • Review of all Operations and Projects HSQE incidents including the conduct of investigations as required.• Designed, developed and implemented an Electronic logbook to supersede the current handwritten log used for recording all operational incidents and actions. This greatly enhanced the communication of current, future, and past works allowing seamless transfer of knowledge and responsibility between shifts.

• Design and Implementation of an Information management system to analyse the performance of a Blue Chip Engineering plant contractor against a government PFI contract, leading to the realisation of savings in excess of £800,000 from historical auditing deficiencies.

• Responsible, as part of a small project team, for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of a management control system for TATA(India) Spares Manufacturing, leading to an intelligent outsourcing process, reduction in downtime and an overall 10% reduction in annual spend.• Installation of intelligent and highly effective processes using focused KPIs that allowed managers to make informed decisions that directly increased the profits and efficiency of their Businesses.• Development of a proactive and unified employee culture through incentives, change management and issue resolution that enabled gains to be sustainable and facilitate further opportunities for growth.

Responsible for the day to day management of a technical support department consisting of 84 multi-disciplined Engineering staff tasked with sustaining critical operations equipment located globally in Kenya, Canada, Gibraltar, and Afghanistan.

Management of 3 engineering and logistics teams responsible for operational support to a wide variety of complex vehicle systems in high tempo and often arduous environments including Canada and Germany.

Responsible for the management and delivery of technical training at NVQ through to HND level for over 220 Soldiers at various stages of their careers including Junior and Middle Management.

Project Management through formation, complete life cycle, and subsequent return to business as usual, of a highly specialised team charged with deployment on Operations in Afghanistan in support of Mission critical Vehicles and Electronic systems.
