Hello! My name is Justin Boyles, and I am a fourth-year student working on my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. My anticipated graduation date is May 2025. I have been involved in several organizations such as BullsLEAD in the College of Engineering, as well as USF Rotaract and USF Navigators. I am currently working as a Lean Manufacturing Intern at Dynamet Inc., part of Carpenter Technologies where we manufacture specialty titanium alloy products. A few of my recent projects include creating standard work, implementing 5S initiatives, conducting operational analysis studies, and enhancing dashboard and metrics used for daily management.Last summer I worked as an intern with Trane Technologies at one of the Trane Large Commercial plants in Clarksville, Tennessee where I worked in the operations department, doing process improvement projects in the warehouse department.During the academic school I was an intern with Process Technologies, Inc. A large part of this internship was having the opportunity to go into food and beverage manufacturing plants where I help to recalibrate and perform maintenance on control instruments, ensuring that they are providing a correct reading to the PLC system. My fields of interest include lean/six sigma, design of experiments, process improvement, operations research and management science, project management and consulting. A few of the industries I am most interested in are healthcare and agriculture, with an interest in other service industries as well.
