As the UI/UX Design Manager at SmartRent I manage a small team of talented UX Designers, who are working to tackle complex problems in the IoT space. I oversee qualitative user testing and quantitative data tracking, to deliver insights on how our products are being utilized. I also work to maintain our Elemental UI design system to ensures consistency across all products.

In an attempt to learn continually and further monetize my capabilities, I occasionally pick up side work. Typically these are one-off projects to create a website in React, or help formulate the proper UI for an app.

Research, Analysis, Testing and Iteration on our eCommerce platform and web stores. I focus heavily on research and analysis and have progressed into A/B and Multivariate testing using VWO and Google Analytics. My number one goal is to increase conversions and optimize our 800+ eCommerce web stores by identifying UX pain points and then finding innovative ways to optimize them utilizing the discipline of design, and a Lean UX methodology. -Measured the performance of all previously designed templates with Google Analytics.-Selected our Top 5 design templates for optimization. -Selected a list of 50 stores on the 5 templates to use as a measure of platform health (sort of like the S&P 500)-Utilized Google Analytics to measure Q4 performance on our top 50 stores, or as I call them, the RP 50. -Created funnels using Hotjar.com and regular expressions to identify user flow through the website and identify areas for opportunity.-Utilized Google Optimize in conjunction with Google Analytics to conduct A/B Testing and Multivariate Testing on our RP 50 templates. -Harnessed my knowledge of the platform, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, and php to create A/B Tests and iterate on the RP 50.

At Revolution Parts I am a Front End Web Developer tasked with building websites, templates, and emails for customers. In addition, I work on an in-house CMS called PageBuilder, and develop the dynamic widgets that are used to build our websites.- Implemented over 400 website designs for customers.- Designed and Developed template designs using HTML5, SCSS, Less, jQuery, and Javascript.- Modified, Debugged, and Developed our in-house CMS PageBuilder.- Designed & Developed Dynamic widgets for PageBuilder.- Designed and Developed Platform wide pages such as a Product Page.- Performed A/B testing using Google Optimize.- Ensured SEO standards were being met for each site.

As an assistant director I specialized in administrative tasks to keep things running smoothly while delivering positively outrageous service (POS) for campers and parents alike. Supervisor of content management for the NAU school newspaper, The Lumberjack. Overseeing the use of CMS systems including Wordpress and TownNews. Minimal use of HTML and CSS to upload ads and editorial assets.Organization using shared Google Docs, leadership through communication, and punctuality through professionalism.- Organized the flow and design of the website.- Tested several posting techniques. - Created a Jackcentral Workflow Process for all users. - Input 72 users with passwords, mugshots, and edited their permissions and preferences. - Mass introduction of all of our users/contributors to the TownNews interface.Check it out at http://www.jackcentral.org!

- Implemented creative solutions to reduce Pet loss (Sales versus animal loss) from 73% to 42% in a 6 month time period. - Raised the store standing from 1103rd to 75th in the company as a result. Directed educational store meetings to train associates and created a culture of education to build a loyal customer base. - Developed forms and innovated documents to increase efficiency, and ensure company standards were met, as well as discover trends and remedy them.- Collaborated on a district level to reduce pet loss in other stores.
