Justin is lawyer who practices in commercial/civil litigation and corporate law (part-time general counsel). Justin approaches his litigation practice zealously and takes pride in treating every case like building a puzzle, carefully crafting the edges of each legal argument so that when put together in front a judge, the picture (the legal issue in dispute) is logically believable, complete and seamless with no holes.Justin is also very involved in the sport of judo at the provincial and national levels. He has more than 30 years of experience and runs Hayabusakan Judo Club in the evenings. He also trained full-time with the Welsh national judo team while at Cardiff Law School. He decided to return to his home in Toronto, Canada in 2010 after completing his LL.M. and immediately became involved with Judo Ontario as the Chair of its Legal Committee. He obtained recognition of his law degrees with the Federation of Law Societies of Canada by passing 7 challenge exams in 2011 and began his Articles of Clerkship at Ormston List Frawley LLP under the managing partner, John Ormston in 2012. He was called to the Bar in 2013. In late 2013, Justin accepted a managing position on a special team at Ernst & Young's US Tax team in Toronto where he headed up the corporate action research for a new project.In early 2014, Justin started his own practice in the areas of commercial litigation and corporate law, starting with a debt collection practice where he chased down debts owed to a national consulting group and other corporate clients of varying sizes.
