- Manage the university’s $400m General Cash Float, ensuring liquidity for daily operations while optimizing returns.- Support the management of the $1.4b Long Term Investment Pool, assisting the Director in overseeing daily operations of the multi-asset, multi-currency portfolio as the second-in-command of the Investment Office.- Execute foreign exchange trades for currency hedging, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for seamless settlements.- Lead performance monitoring and quarterly due diligence reviews, maintaining strong relationships with fund managers.- Coordinate asset consultant tender processes, managing timelines, conducting quantitative assessments, and liaising with procurement and legal teams.- Train and mentor team members, ensuring seamless onboarding and skill development.

- Manage and monitor the two funds in the University, Long-term Investment Pool (LTIP) which is a financial structure for the investment of monies on behalf of the the University’s Pension Reserve account, endowment funds, and unrestricted funds as the unit-holders; and General Cash Float (GCF) which is the University’s treasury fund.- Review investment performance and monitor reporting accuracy monthly by portfolio performance reconciliation and inventory reconciliation, and following up with custodian and external fund managers- Monitor and assess the investment performance monthly by portfolio attribution analysis against peer funds- Prepared the Investment Strategy Paper for the Council Meeting and participated in setting the Investment Assest Allocation target and strategy based on market condition and outlook- Forecast the University’s financial position and estimate future potential credit rating, this include communicating with and collecting information from the Budget Team, Accounting Reporting Team, external consultants and S&P analyst- Assist in quarterly distribution from the to the unit holders, including facilitating funds transfer into and out of LTIP, and rebalancing asset classes and arranging purchases and sales of units with fund managers- Perform liability-asset management by periodically measuring and stress testing the position of the University’s Pension Reserve Account’s net asset.
