An experienced leader with a successful track record growing and managing a nationwide commercial real estate portfolio. Since joining One Liberty Properties, Inc. (NYSE: OLP) in 2006, Justin has been instrumental in the growth of the company increasing the portfolio from 60 properties to over 125 in 30 states. During his tenure he has lead the strategy shift repositioning OLP's portfolio from 80% retail/20% industrial to over 65% industrial properties with continued emphasis on same. Having personal experience in more than 35 industrial markets coast to coast, he brings hands on attention to detail to a multitude of disciplines.Chief responsibilities including sourcing new property acquisitions and sale-leasebacks, lease negotiations, interfacing with lenders, overseeing underwriting of investments and management of existing assets. Additional responsibilities include site inspections, property level due diligence, and marketing for the firm. In addition to over $1 billion of transactional acquisition and disposition experience, prior to joining OLP Justin spent two years as a commercial appraiser in New York City for Regional Appraisal Associates and Cushman & Wakefield, appraising more than $700 million in property value. Before working as a commercial appraiser, he entered the real estate industry in 2002 negotiating, buying, renovating and selling foreclosed and distressed houses on Long Island, NY. Justin received a B.S. in Real Estate & Metropolitan Development, Cum Laude from the City University of New York, Baruch College.In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters, road cycling, photography and volunteer work (global Habitat for Humanity builds). In 2024 Justin ran the TCS NYC Marathon.
