I was hired to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting, with specific goal of streamlining payroll systems and processes. As an Associate at RBT, I am responsible for assisting my team's client list by preparing year-end work papers, individual tax returns, quarterly payroll and sales tax returns, worker's compensation and general liability audits, preparing of compilation and review financial statements as well as various monthly work and projects that come up.

This was one of two internships where I worked and learned while in college. At RBT CPA, I was the first and last point of contact for new clients. I took their documents and organized them into our system, and then sent them off to the tax preparer who did the return. When the return was finished, I collated everything and gave the client instructions for.

On campus at my university, I was the chief communicator, organizer, and go-to person for all students who wanted to play a particular sport. We ran 6-week programs, and I determined who would be working each night as a referee or umpire, I made sure the teams had a field or court available, I coordinated the team rosters, and made sure everyone had access.
