I engage and inform people across our viewing area, on-air and online. In my first year on KSPR, our ratings doubled. Every morning, I present the top breaking news stories for three hours, and anchor the 8am hour.

As an anchor and reporter for KTVB, I research, create, and present compelling stories for the highest-rated newscasts in the state. I write and publish stories and video to the award-winning KTVB.com, and use the station‘s various social media outlets to help bring millions of people to the site. I also won the honor of The Idaho Press Club’s “Best Spot News Story” in 2011.Before moving to news, I was an anchor and reporter for Idaho’s top-rated sportscast. I shot and edited exciting video of local sporting events, conducted in-depth interviews, and created interesting stories. I presented that content nightly as the main sports anchor, and as a co-anchor for the weekly sports program Sunday Sports Extra (which was recognized by the ISBA as the best sports program in the state). I also wrote and published stories and video to the award-winning KTVB.com. I was honored by the Idaho Press Club with “Best Website - Special Purpose” for 2005 and 2007, “Best Sportscast” for 2007, and “Best Sports News Story” for 2008.

I produced, wrote, and anchored the weekend sportscast, which was #1 in the market. I shot and edited exciting video of local sporting events, conducted interviews, setup and produced engaging stories.

I produced the Saturday Morning News, and served as the associate producer for Idaho's highest rated morning news. It involved choosing interesting and varied stories, scheduling guests, and organizing live shots.As the assignment editor, I helped the Managing Editor find potential stories and updated the editorial calendar. I also filled in for the Managing Editor on occasion, which required the supervision and management of the newsroom and photographer staff. I was also the Morning Photographer, which included operating the live truck and live camera. I also shot video and conducted interviews for stories that aired later in the day.
