Ensures processes are safe, functional and validated to perform at their design capability to delivery high quality products. Plans and coordinates new packaging and product trials and brewery and capital projects.Improves the supply chain operation through process optimization, asset improvement, and new technology utilizing the techniques of problem solving and continuous improvement. Actively seeks out best practices through internal and external benchmarking.

Conduct daily walkthrough inspections and audits of physical conditions in assigned area of responsibility. Report and track finding to closure. Conduct diligent accident/incident investigations involving interviews, documentation, filing, and follow-up regarding corrective actions. Identify and report root cause of accident/incident. Assist safety councils and Process Leaders with safety concern resolution. Assist in the preparation and implementation of presentations regarding various safety topics during communication meetings. Act as a conduit for sharing safety improvements with rest of plant as appropriate. Plan, facilitate and lead safety improvement activities in an effort to achieve plant safety objectives. Conduct new hire, contractor, and safety council training. Assist in the continuous improvement and maintenance of administration and physical safety audit items to ensure complete compliance. Develop expertise as subject matter expert within safety discipline such as LOTO, Confined Space Entry etc.
