My primary role is ensuring that Cleveland Neighborhood Progress's (CNP) real estate agenda is effectively and efficiently aligned with our broader mission of fostering communities of choice and opportunity throughout Cleveland. This includes managing our real estate projects and portfolio throughout their development and ownership life cycles. I also direct the Neighborhood Stabilization Team (the NST), a collaborative effort between CNP, Case Western Reserve University, and community development corporations to combine and leverage the skill sets, expertise, and knowledge of partners in order to develop and execute strategic, asset based stabilization agendas in Cleveland neighborhoods. I also sit on the Vacant and Abandoned Action Council (VAPAC), a regional collaboration of non-profit and governmental organizations that research, develop, and work to implement policy changes regarding issues arising from vacant properties in Cuyahoga County. Finally, as an attorney I serve as in-house counsel to CNP and its subsidiaries, and represent Community Development Corporations in real estate matters, primary nuisance abatement litigation.

I worked with Dr. Jeffery Brudney in non-profit and volunteerism research, and graded/tutored for an introductory level graduate statistics course.
