Responsible for the coordination of all planning and design elements associated with the resort development, including selection of operating partners, business-budget and market planning, representation to investors, government and other third parties, overall representation of the project on behalf of the investment group. Complete pre-opening and pre-construction management. Key areas of focus include, Ski Resort Operations, Golf Operations, Hotel Operations, Real Estate, Management Systems.This position was also responsible for the identification and facilitation of global business opportunities focused on tourism and leisure, on behalf of the broader network of VXL/Genting affiliated companies.

Leading the multi (5) resort operations team, this position was responsible and accountable for the creation and implementation of all aspects of the groups resort operations and development strategy for short and long term goals. This position directed the senior management teams at all resorts, comprising of Finance, Sales & Marketing, Resort & Lodging Operations and Human Resources to achieve these goals

Position Objective was to be responsible for managing and directing the myriad of properties & businesses to provide a world class resort experience whilst maximizing shareholder and enterprise value. Budget management exceeding AUD$100 million in real estate and operating revenues.

Green Light was given for this $400M project in March 2000 with successful opening of this ‘Greenfield’ project only 8 months later. Position Objective was to create & deliver the ‘product’, in line with the vision, and then be responsible for developing, managing, marketing and directing the myriad of properties & businesses to provide a world class resort experience whilst maximizing shareholder and enterprise value.
