My responsibilities included prospecting the greater Nashville area for prospective clients, cold calling, networking, price negotiation, proposals & submittals for all fire and life safety services provided by the company. These services included inspection and repair on fire alarm, sprinkler, restaurant fire suppression, fire extinguishers, grease extraction and clean agent systems. Also, I created the quoting tools, proposal forms and service contracts, as well as the internal goal tracking tools used by the sales departments in both the Nashville office and the Hilton Head, SC branch. Major accomplishments in this short stint included the negotiation of and closing deals with two McDonald's franchise groups combining for 17 locations with a contract value totaling $110k over 3 years for preventative maintenance. Cumberland was purchased by Koorsen Fire in August of 2014.
