PEP Substation Construction and Maintenance-• Tasked with receiving, logging, and analyzing transformer oil samples obtained from the PHI region.• Tested insulation, current resistance, loss of current, and performance of transformers and tests insulating strength of transformer oil.• Tested insulating strength of transformer oil by passing current through oil sample placed in a box containing two electrodes.• Notes, whether current will break down oil, causing arc between electrodes, actuating dielectric meter and indicating oil, is of insufficient insulating strength.• Analyzed substation battery data within the Pepco region to note any anomalies within the report.
