In my time as an Environmental Specialist, I've learned a lot about what matters in the world and makes it go around. Having turned in literal tons of hazardous wastes as well as other solid wastes, its become clear to me that what environmental employees do is simple, but serious. Once you've learned what's at stake, common sense (and a lion's share of careful study) leads the way. The more we advance in chemistry and production, the more meticulous and vigilant we have to be to do the right thing and dispose of our wastes properly. Time management and careful monitoring of waste streams are crucial for your company's longevity, the health of your employees and the drinking water, soil, and the air itself within range of an accidental spill. I have been given the knowledge to deal with these hazards, but there is always more to learn in an environment that never stops changing.
