Justin is a passionate senior software engineer with 15 years of experience creating solutions in a myriad of different industries and environments. His early career focused on a Windows desktop product, which was developed using C++ and MFC/Qt UI frameworks. After that Justin moved on to developing modeling and simulation applications with Baker Hughes and the JewelSuite™ earth modeling package, which involved writing reservoir simulation code, integrating external simulators, pre/post processing data, and visualizing the data for users. Finally, Justin transitioned to his current expertise of modeling and simulation for the U.S. government on several projects involving lasers, war gaming, the Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), and software project management. Over these projects and careers, Justin has developed extensive experience with many technologies, technology stacks, and environments including Windows desktop applications, web front-end/back-end applications, and containerized service applications.Justin lives with his wife Megan and three children in Albuquerque NM; enjoys drumming, biking, and camping in the great outdoors.
