I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Washington majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Business Administration. I see sustainability as an emerging and crucial field that will impact a wide variety of industries, governments, and people. Through studying Environmental Studies I hope to gain a deep understanding of the multi-disciplinary issues that surround the environment. I believe that sustainable business practices will be the key to ensuring the preservation of current natural resources and spaces, and expertise and knowledge in business administration will help me bring actionable solutions to the environmental field. Throughout my educational career, I have demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond and gather as much extracurricular experience as possible. This is evident by my 3+ years of work experience, and 4+ years of leadership experience as a Fraternity President, and the founder of an environmentally focused volunteer organization.
