Logistics Readiness conducts Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) with subordinate units, ensuring the units capability to respond to any deployment tasking. Manages Wing Readiness Reporting to include ART, DRRS, and SORTS; ensuring the correct information is being presented to leadership from the 146 AW/CC all the way to Air Staff. Plans and implements a comprehensive logistics plans program to ensure all personnel manage their logistics responsibilities and accomplish their wartime missions. Serves as the liaison between Active Duty Air Force Air Force, National Guard Bureau (NGB), and Headquarters California Air National Guard to ensure taskings that are beyond AD's capabilities are reflowed to NGB units and filled by qualified members. Manages the Wing Integrated Deployment System and Logistics Module (LOGMOD). Reviews, maintains and provides accurate input. Logistics Management Specialist - developing, planning and executing war exercises and real world deployments. Establish training programs to train Unit Deployment Managers (UDMs) and other deployment augmentees. Evaluates unit readiness, utilizing higher headquarter guidelines, by conducting staff assistance visits (SAVs) then preparing status reports for unit commanders. Assist unit commanders in resolving conflicts between higher headquarters taskings and current operational capabilities. Briefs the Chief of Wing Readiness on logistical problems or limiting factors.
