With over 18 years experience in the field, Aether consultants have a strong reputation for knowledge and experience in the fields of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) of national emission. Aether specialise in the compilation, reporting and review of greenhouse gas and air pollutant inventories. Aether already provides expert support across a number of specialised MRV areas to the UNFCCC, European Commission, European Environment Agency, UK Defra, UK DECC, Energy Saving Trust and the Environment Agency as well as to specific developing and developed and EU countries. Much of our experience lies in the development and review of emissions inventories and projections, and optimising for use within political and economic decision making processes. Aether provides experts to act as Lead Reviewers for international review under the UNFCCC (greenhouse gases) and UNECE (air pollutants) and have extensive knowledge of European Member state emission calculations and reporting, as well as those for other parties to the UNFCCC. Our review and inventory development support activities also mean that we work closely with experts from annex I and non annex I parties to the UNFCCC and have built strong relationships with a wide network of experts in the emissions monitoring reporting and verification field.
