Piloted composting technology selected by City for use in composting facilities. Overhauled operation of building material reuse center increasing revenue by 25%. Secured ongoing donations of materials from corporate donors. Selected and implemented cloud based retail system. Established outreach program for NYC’s organics waste collection program which directly interact with over 75,000 New York City residents annually. Launched street tree care program in partnership with New York City Council Members that in two years has mobilized over 2000 volunteers to take care of 1500 street tree beds. Launched non-profit building materials reuse social enterprise program. Grew reuse program from inception to 2 locations, 30 FTE staff and annual revenue of over $2.5million - diverting 2000 tons of materials annually from landfills while creating green living wage jobs. Obtained $500,000 from state economic development corporation for launch.Wrote and secured grants for over $750,000 for community composting program. Directed program which was eventually adopted and funded by Department of Sanitation. Initiated green collar job training programs with over 500 students with local union and underserved communities

Developed, piloted and directed first two years of NYC Cool Roofs program with $1.6 million budget with Department of Buildings. Worked with over 1000 volunteers to coat a million sqft of roofs of non-profit and low income housing with reflective coatings throughout New York City.

Managed pilot project to create $6 million loan fund utilizing state, federal, and private banking funds to install energy efficiency measures in low income housing across New York State.Worked closed with NYSERDA to develop criteria for lending - brought together stake holders from finance, real estate management, and government to develop program.
