I worked to bring amazing user experiences to the users of Google Cloud Platform, which seeks to expose the infrastructure that powers Google to the rest of the world.I helped to create and launch the web UI and command-line tool for Cloud Spanner, a globally-distributed database that Google relies on internally for some of its important applications. I focused on the query experience. Since no drivers for existing third-party tools like SQL Workbench existed at the time of launch, and due to some of Spanner's idiosyncrasies the query tool we built is critical for providing users access to and understanding of their data. In addition, I worked on the data ingestion pipeline for the US Presidential Primaries search results (see image below). Millions of people that used Google search for election results interacted with this feature, which helped provide context and useful information during the primaries.

As an EXCEL Leader it was my job to guide small groups of students through the notoriously difficult Concepts of Mathematics course, which for most of the students is an introduction to theoretical math.

I worked on the mobile team at Next Jump. I developed an “upcoming travel reservations” feature, then made a “recommendation” service based the reservations. In addition, I created a mock-up of a tablet-specific version of the service.

While at AT&T, I created a developer tool to assist in making sense of the data gathered from hundreds of servers throughout the world. Whenever run, my tool would parse the hundreds of pages for each server to find information that would be helpful in diagnosing problems. Then, it would display this concise information to the user, while allowing them to specify their preferences.
