In this role I present and evaluate government provided training for the U.S. Department of State's diplomatic security contractors. I enhance, modify and fulfill the curriculum for a wide variety of disciplines including firearms, tactical skills, guard force operations and protective operations. I ensure contract compliance while enhancing training deliverables. I mentor, evaluate and teach new instructors on instructional delivery, adult learning theory as well as processes implemented throughout their scope of work.

In our individual lives, whether military or civilian we have all crossed the paths of responsible firearm ownership and their utilization as a tool. Because of our experiences, it is my core belief that it’s a natural right of every American to defend their life, the lives of their loved ones, and their property by any means necessary which includes owning and building a Firearm which is a right guaranteed by the 2nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution. United States

In my capacity as a lead instructor for Janus Global Operations, I consistently train both stateside personnel as well as foreign personnel how to shoot multiple weapon platforms while utilizing updated tactics, techniques and procedures currently used in theatre. Additionally I instruct multiple courses including the basic field firearms officers course (BFFOC), non-protective security specialist course (NPSS), U.S. senior guard course (USGF), protective security specialist course (PSS) as well as the emergency reaction team (ERT) and quick reaction force (QRF) courses . I am currently bio approved as a range master firearms instructor, lead firearms instructor, lead tactical skills instructor, resources instructor, lead hostage survival personnel recovery instructor, emergency response team member, BFFOC re-certified as of November 2020 and PSS certified as of April 2017. I regularly fill a chief instructor role in the ERT, NPSS and USG courses.

Conus/Oconus

In my capacity as an instructor for Aegis Defense LLC, I consistently train both stateside personnel as well as foreign personnel how to shoot multiple weapon platforms while utilizing updated tactics, techniques and procedures currently used in theatre. Additionally I instruct multiple courses including the non-protective security specialist course (NPSS), U.S. senior guard course (USGF), third country national guard course (TCNGF), local national guard course (LNGF), protective security specialist course (PSS) and the advanced reaction force course (ARF) . I am currently bio approved as a range master firearms instructor, lead firearms instructor, lead tactical skills instructor, resources instructor, lead hostage survival personnel recovery instructor, emergency response team member, BFFOC re-certified as of November 2020 and PSS certified as of April 2017. Fort Lee, Virginia

Successfully trained over 800 Army 1st and 2nd lieutenants. Provided tactical knowledge and expertise of weapons training, doctrine and utilization strategy to the Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC) Tactical and Field Training for the Army Logistics University at Fort Lee, VA. Served as a subject matter expert for the conduct of all tactical training, weapons training, and the field training exercise. Prepared for Small Unit Tactics, Basic and Advanced Rifle Marksmanship, Convoy Operations, Counter-IED, Map Reading and Land Navigation, Room Clearing Procedures and Defensive Operations training by ensuring instructional materials, training aids, and support requirements were met on time. Presented instruction according to lesson plans, doctrine, Operation Orders (OPORD) briefings the operational environment, all comprised in a 3 week training course. Monitored and observed students during tactical classes/exercises and provided assistance and guidance as necessary. Implemented and enforced Army and unit SHARP and EO policies and procedures ensuring all personnel were trained in a manner consistent with regulations and the Army profession.

Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Lead Instructor Security Element, lead tactics instructor for the security element course, instruct, train and evaluate the Marine Expeditionary Unit reconnaissance and visit board search and seizure elements in high risk training such as live fire and maneuver, fast roping techniques and hook and climb procedures during at-sea and land based training evolutions. Advised the chief instructor and served as the subject matter expert on all aspects related to methods of entry, reconnaissance and surveillance, close quarters tactics, visit board search and seizure, combat marksmanship as well as equipment and tactics as required. Evaluated and mentored the Second Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Expeditionary Unit scout sniper, force reconnaissance, and reconnaissance battalion personnel during all phases of the pre-deployment training program.-Implemented and supervised over 3,000 hours of high risk, high stress courses resulting in zero safety mishaps greatly increasing proficiency of the personnel attending.-Supervised and tracked 242 individual training areas, waterways, drop zones and landing zones in support of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit pre-deployment training program.-Maintained 100% accountability of over 240 Marines and Sailors in 6 locations spread over 250 miles during the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Realistic Urban Training through implementation of a tactical exercise control group utilizing positive communication between training personnel as well as a personnel and location tracker updated in real time.-Managed and streamlined three-security element courses totaling 128 students and 675 hours of instruction, demonstration and practical application through changes in scheduling, course structure and maximizing the student to instructor ratio.

Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii

Personnel Supervisor, trained, evaluated and mentored 38 personnel through developing and preparing individuals physically, mentally, technically and tactically while grooming them for leadership opportunities. Assisted the development and implementation of operational risk management prior to training and operations. Coordinated and supervised the embarkation/debarkation, maintenance, condition and care of assets totaling over $15M. -Established a professional development and training plan to improve overall technical and tactical competence of assigned personnel, allowing uninterrupted execution of combat operations and the subsequent data collection and analysis of areas with extremely hazardous conditions and dynamics.-Upgraded and improved physical access controls within an extremely hazardous area, which documented and catalogued the biometric data for over 400 local nationals. -Maintained and accounted for over $2M worth of weapons, optics, surveillance systems and communications equipment.-Planned and lead over 300 mounted combat patrols successfully navigating over 4,000 miles of hazardous improvised explosive devise areas in Afghanistan without incident or loss of personnel, equipment or vehicles.-Developed, trained, and led 38 Marines and 4 local national linguists during Operation Enduring Freedom, culminating in the completion of 625 dismounted patrols in a high threat environment covering more than 1500 miles. -Conducted 5 helicopter-borne raids and 4 company level named operations resulting in the location and reduction of 16 enemy improvised explosive devices and the capture and transfer of 35 detainees to the designated detention facility
