I am a dedicated game developer with over 20 years of experience in 3D modeling, animation, computer programming, and electronics engineering. I graduated with a degree in Computer Animation from Full Sail University in 2004 and have since expanded my technical skill set by mastering the Maya Embedded Language (MEL) that opened the door to many other programming languages.Currently, I am advancing my education by pursuing an Electronic Engineering degree at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in Asheville, NC. This academic pursuit aligns with my passion for robotics and aims to transform my hobby into professional product development, particularly its integration into virtual reality (VR) applications.My professional career began with an internship at Blue Ridge Motion Pictures in 2005, where I gained hands-on experience in the film industry, working on movie sets and contributing to practical effects. Following this, I embarked on numerous independent projects, focusing on computer programming and technology development.In 2017, I co-founded a VR startup that broadened my expertise in virtual reality. This venture laid the foundation for launching a new VR-focused company in 2019, specializing in developing training applications and technical demonstrations. One of our notable collaborations was with Looking Glass XR Inc., where we co-developed several products, including medical training software for burn victim treatment. We also partnered with Winston-Salem State University and the Center for Design Innovation on a VR nursing training simulation, now commercialized under the name Patient Ready. I now proudly serve as a key contributor to both Looking Glass XR and Patient Ready, focusing on design and development of VR applications.As a Lead Developer proficient in Unreal Engine and Unity, leveraging C++ and C#, I have successfully led development teams in designing and producing software applications targeting VR mobile platforms. I am deeply committed to using immersive technologies as innovative tools for training and education, strongly believing in their potential to shape future learning methods.
