-Provide engineering and technical support for current products and new product launches-Interface with customer quality representatives concerning quality problems and assure that effective corrective action is implemented-Interpret customer specifications and requirements-Apply and maintain quality operating system requirements and standards-Serve as a quality resource for problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement6. Assist in the design and implementation of methods for process improvement, testing and inspection-Assist with reviewing processes to help determine and create error-proofing tooling/gauges8. Participate in internal and external quality and environmental audits-Provide support to develop and analyze quality metrics-Support manufacturing for all quality related practices, problem solving, process improvements and corrective and preventive actions (8D and 5 why)- Coordinate and lead efforts relating to internal and external quality defects such as: implementing effective contention actions for suspect product, conducting nonconformance investigation and root cause analysis, and implementing temporary and permanent corrective actions.-Manage calibration system for all controlled gages.-Manage Layered Process Audit System and coordinated corrective action based on findings.

-Coordinate and lead efforts relating to internal and external quality defects such as: implementing effective contention actions for suspect product, conducting non conformance investigation and root cause analysis, and implementing temporary and permanent corrective actions.-Coordinate and provide progress and result reports for new product preparation/projects in the department.-Develop and analyze data and product specifications to determine standards to establish quality and reliability expectations of finished product.-Provide training to production and daily communication to production departments to maintain proper inspection and testing procedures and monitor results of production for improvement.-Ensures quality standards are maintained and promotes Quality Continuous Improvement efforts- Lead Kaizen activities within the Quality Department towards improving customer quality as well as reducing scrap numbers.
