Ski Coaching and consulting

Act as mentor for skiers between the ages of 8 and 18. Lead drills designed to improve athletes technical skills in regards to skiing, more specifically big mountain skiing. Provide safe environment for athletes to develop skills. Assist athletes in acquisition of information in regards to competitions. Communicate with athletes and parents as to each days curriculum as well as posting video of each day for review. Plan, budget, and execute travel details and accommodations for multi-day trips. Travel to competitions while looking after athletes. Organize, budget, and execute summer training camps at various locations across the United States and the word. Travel to off season training camps while looking after athletes wellbeing and career development. Evaluate athlete progression and skill development for year-end review. Manage all big mountain staff members.

Work in conjunction with Zip-Flyer Forman and Vail Resorts Development Company to construct zip-line and infrastructure. Demonstrate operational functions to United States Forest Service officials for approval. Develop operational procedures. Complete level I NFPA rescue certification. Train frontline operations staff. Supervise daily operations.

Responsible for all aspects of installation and construction of Zip-Flyer designed and manufactured zip-line. Read drawing as provided by steel fabricator, compared drawings from fabricator to those provided by zip-flyer engineer. Operate industrial forklift and bobcat in order to move materials. Ensure all installation complete up to locally approved and structurally designed codes and standards.

Conduct day-to-day operations including: log monetary values/balance cash register, make sales, create guest profiles, authorize profiles per requirements, record total cash in-take, calculate cash profit, coordinate sales report with receipts per transaction, keep log of hours to satisfy internship requirements, attend development seminars as required by Vail Resorts

Conducted day-to-day operations including: cleaning fitness equipment and facility, washing workout towels, completing facility temperature log, selling fitness memberships and merchandise, collecting and recording membership data, updating both hardcopy and computer data regarding memberships, customer service

Prepared all: salads, sauces, and meats for dinner shift. Cooked all appetizers and entrees for dinner shift. Culpable for cleaning dishes during and after hours as well as cleaning kitchen after hours.

Patrolled the ground of Chautauqua Institution on bike. Answered questions for guests. Assisted on grounds EMS, fire department, and police officer in all situations. Ensured guests followed all policies, rules, and laws as pertaining to Chautauqua Institution. During concerts or weekly registration, performed crowd and traffic control to ensure safety of guests.

Ensured validity of all season, week, or day gate passes upon guest arrival and entry. Answered guest questions with regard to geography of the grounds, events, and policies. Directed guests with invalid passes to ticketing office. Sold overnight passes during the overnight shift. Dispatched calls to Chautauqua Police Department during the overnight shift.
