• Offering counsel and addressing legal issues affecting the association, including ethics and compliance enforcement, contracts administration, privacy, intellectual property and litigation.• Manages a team of lawyers and lobbyists in 20 states in development and deployment of strategies to influence policy outcomes favorable to the vacation ownership industry.• Researching, monitoring, analyzing and drafting legislation and regulations on behalf of the industry.• Preparing and delivering oral and written testimony.

• Coordinate all operations relating to site selection, lease/purchase negotiation and acquisition of property interests for new and existing billboard locations.• Effectively communicate with corporate and local counsel to resolve legal disputes relating to restrictive zoning, takings, lease contract violations and to ensure compliance with all applicable statutes and ordinances.• Develop relationships with state and local government officials to enhance their understanding of billboard related issues.• Work with sales, marketing, finance and operations to target opportunities, set real estate goals for the division, and streamline processes to better execute in a competitive, highly regulated industry.

• Originated and executed transactions including initial public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, private investments in public equity and follow-on equity offerings in the growth technology sector. • Supported the transaction team by creating comparable company and comparable transaction analyses, prospective buyer or investor lists, financial models and analyses, and contributing to the preparation of presentation materials for pitches and road shows.• Conducted industry and company research to stay current on market developments and trends affecting the equity capital markets.• Assisted in developing the firm’s initial east coast presence and entrance into the security software market.

• Underwrote institutional equity investments to develop or rehabilitate affordable housing complexes with joint venture partners.• Prepared comprehensive reports evaluating potential investments and led presentations to the Investment Committee regarding those findings. Coordinated the due diligence process and implemented Investment Committee recommendations to ensure successful closings.• Closed and funded six (6) deals with total equity commitments of $42 million in less than 15 months.• Worked with developers to evaluate development budgets and construction timelines, senior and mezzanine debt options, property-level cash flow projections, business plan feasibility, and transition of projects to asset management group.
