For the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to the renewables industry, and my passion for building a renewable energy future. I’ve served in several leadership roles that prepared me to create and grow Arevon as a global leader in renewable energy and as a $9 billion private equity renewable energy development, construction and asset management firm. I found my passion for the renewables industry after a career in the U.S. Air Force, where I served as an officer for seven years and was a member of the U.S. Air Force Academy parachute team while I was a cadet. Director Of Asset ManagementHorizon Wind Energy Jun 2010 - Feb 2011I was Director of Horizon Wind Energy's eleven-person Asset Management team where I was commercially responsbile for the operation of over 3,400MWs of wind energy across the United States. As Director of Asset Management I was responsbile for setting/managing operating budgets, managing wind plant profit & loss statements, defining O&M strategies for post-warranty operation & managing the five major contracts involved with wind plants (i.e. (1) turbine warranty, (2) turbine O&M, (3) LGIA (large generator interconnect agreement), (4) PPA (power purchase agreement), (5) landowner agreements). I was intimately involved in monitoring/managing the performance of wind plants and familiar with the most state of the art tools and information available to ensure that wind plant production and availability remain at optimal levels.

Turbine Procurement & Technology ManagerHorizon Wind Energy Jun 2007 - Jun 2010I led Horizon's Turbine Procurement and Technology team (2007 to 2010). I was responsible for the purchase of over 4,000MWs of wind turbines (from 5 different manufacturers). I have experience negotiating/awarding multi-year turbine supply and O&M agreements, organizing and managing extensive due diligence on turbine manufacturers & their parent companies, coordinating delivery, erection and construction of wind projects, monitoring turbine manufacturer performance during warranty periods and evaluating emerging wind turbine technologies.
