Main role: Design, qualify, calibrate and operate thermoelectric material electrical, thermal and efficiency characterization (at hot side temparatures up to 600C). Lead engineer for power density measurement program. Secondary work in cleanroom: work in thin film sputtering, SiC Low Pressure Chemical-Vapor Deposition (LPCVD) film growth, thermal oxidation furnace operation, metal sputtering, wet etch, critical point drying, coat track and non-contact lithography for prototype devices.Additional responsibilities: Optical characterization of TE materials using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and optical microscopy (standard and confocal) , TE device assembly, vacuum equipment, measurement automation.

I designed, constructed and operated a thermoelectric direct efficiency measurement system.

I constructed, qualified, calibrated and ran a high temperature (300-750K) in plane thermoelectric test system that could measure seebeck and 4 wire van der Pauw resistance. The publication on this work is listed below.
