Responsible for driving the operational success of Impact Safety Solutions. In this role, I led an exceptional management team and reported into a Board comprised of key management and ownership. With locations across Canada, several large oil and gas customers, and the largest deployment of the technology to date, we are proud to be transforming the safety industry.

Finance leader for an emerging O&G organization that is focused on leveraging technology and exceptional customer service to satisfy our customers' safety needs. My objective in the first year was to establish financial structure, processes and procedures as we pivoted our business structure to focus on larger projects with our remote confined space monitoring technology.In this role, I was able to:- Scale our payroll process as the seasonal workforce more than doubled- Develop cash flow forecasting capabilities that allowed our company to effectively manage our cash flow needs during our growth- Engage in customer discussions to collect on over 90% of our at-risk outstanding receivables (90 days+).- Develop structure, training and efficient procedures to streamline our accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes

Converge Condo Management was founded in November 2015 by myself and two partners. Over the course of three years with the company, we grew revenues and employees by over 100% each year. I successfully exited the company in October 2018 and it continues to be run by one of the co-founders and an exceptional management team. Technical components of financials included NCI, consolidation, foreign exchange, share based compensation and discontinued operations.- Manager of fourteen (five direct, nine indirect) which included coaching, mentoring, motivating, setting the vision, delegating, shadowing and feedback, and review of deliverables- Assisted in implementation of Solium, a third-party software utilized for option valuation, continuities and share based compensation- Reduced month end close timeline by 30% via identification of process efficiences and workflow analysis

In this role, I was accountable for providing financial reporting and guidance to the Power Systems senior leadership team and supporting branch personnel. This unit was responsible for over $250 million in revenues and 300+ employees.During this time period, I prepared and recommended financial analysis regarding our facility and rental fleet utilization, as well as contributed on multiple Request For Proposal (RFPs) to larger oil and gas customers. We were able to significantly reduce our fixed costs, facility footprint and rental utilization over a one and a half year period. In the fall of 2016, we were able to successfully bid on multiple RFPs that together will generate in excess of $10 million in gross revenues.I was tasked with managing inventory via approving inventory orders, monitoring stock levels and providing financial guidance on deal structure. In a six month window, we were able to liquidate a significant portion of aging inventory and improve revenue and inventory ordering process accuracy by a factor of two.To develop the talent pipeline in the finance department, I was nominated on a team of two to map out our CPA pre-approved program and obtained approval from the CPA office in the summer of 2016. I was on the selection committee to hire the first candidate beginning in spring 2017.

In this role, I was responsible for financial reporting and budgeting for corporate cost centers with over $700 million in costs. This required effective communication and strong financial acumen to be able to have value-added conversations with corporate senior leaders. I was also selected to be a member of "Project Vector" which was a company-wide cost saving initiative. My role was finance lead on a team ranging from 4 to 10 core members. We were responsible for identifying the opportunities, developing engagement with over 25 key stakeholders in an organization of over 5,000 and monitoring its successful implementation. Ultimately the project resulted in over $100 million in cost savings in 2015 and over $200 million in a three year span. This project was a a category winner for project management in 2016 at the Project Management Institute Northern Alberta Chapter (PMINAC) awards.

In this role, I was able to quickly develop rapport with corporate senior leaders and assist with their understanding of the financial reporting and budgeting process. A key initiative I was able to undertake was to review a month long accounting process, leverage my CA background of audit and controls, and streamline the process to less than one day. My value-added guidance was recognized by Finning and I was promoted to manager within one year of my start date.

At PwC Canada, I was able to obtain my Chartered Accountant designation. During my three years at the firm, I had the opportunity to audit a company exiting CCAA (Canadian bankruptcy), as well as a company issuing an initial public offering (IPO). The breadth of experience I gained at PwC developed my critical thinking , time management and appreciation of a good day of hard work. During my three years, my performance and ranking was consistently recognized as one of the top performers.
