MY STORY IS SOMETHING LIKE THIS...I wasn’t interested in the piano until I heard a friend of mine play two pieces; an original composition and Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. That performance inspired me to learn how to play piano and compose my own music. I was 15. Since that day, I have written hundreds of pieces, performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, written symphonies performed by professional orchestras, composed music for the Diablo Ballet used for live performances and short-films, won my first award for music at a film festival, recorded six albums, self-published six volumes of piano solos, created a new genre of music, became an award-winning composer, was selected to have my music on Pandora, raised a family, worked full time for Steinway & Sons, became president of the nationally recognized music organization Composers’ Inc. and rode the emotional roller-coaster one might expect from life itself and all of the above. I live a blessed life and have the best family you could ask for; they are my inspiration and center! I try to be thankful every day for the gift I was given and to do my best to share it with the world.My goal: to help others with and through my music.
