I've been with Nelson Brothers since the start of my IT career. I began in a Tier 1 helpdesk position but quickly progressed to administrator roles. I'm now responsible for administration and planning of most infrastructure needs. Including Microsoft Azure/AD Hybrid, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manager, etc. I coordinate our Cybersecurity resources, utilizing Barracuda, Alert Logic, and KnowBe4 to manage, monitor and educate our users in Cybersecurity. With the current industry climate, and Nelson Brothers in particular, industry our focus on Cybersecurity and IP security continues to increase. I'm also responsible for Cisco networking and voice systems and our VMWare environment. A majority of our needs are handled in house, but I also coordinate with MSPs to fulfill our higher-end engineering needs. In the 20+ years I've been with Nelson Brothers I've been the lead in many projects. Transitioning from analog to digital voice systems, MPLS to SD-WAN environments, and our current transition from onprem to hybrid to cloud Microsoft services. I've also been the driving force for our Cybersecurity Initiative, helping protect company resources and IP with a mix of technology and education.I'm a fast learner with a large amount of broad knowledge in IT. I like to think I'm adaptable to any situation and solution I need to provide.
