I worked on developing Kubernetes operators on Juju's new Operator Framework. The operators were related to observability and databases. Notably, Grafana, ElasticSearch and Graylog.

Remote position with a San Francisco startup company with employees spread around the globe. Responsibilities include: marketing automation, designing automated dashboards and reports for easy insights, and performing statistical analyses on various aspects of product performance. Developed a proprietary hearing score algorithm that will be presented to users to better understand their hearing loss and continuously refine models for customer lifetime value. This experience has been very valuable in learning how to work effectively as a remote employee which requires constant effective communication so nothing is lost in translation. As with any startup, we all wear many hats in a well-funded, fast paced organization.

Work as a research assistant to director of the UTC Sim Center in intercollegiate, NSF-funded research project for using (non-cryptocurrency) blockchain technology to ensure data provenance. Aspects of this research include learning and using Solidity to develop Ethereum smart contracts and assisting main C++ developer in proprietary blockchain R&D.

I co-founded the company Catalyst Cycling. We developed an innovative product for triathletes to save money on aerodynamic equipment. I worked primarily on marketing and sales strategies and how to create awareness through technology, such as search engine optimization and content marketing. My role was not limited to digital marketing; I also took care of all customer service and built partnerships with professional triathletes to set up affiliate marketing channels.

Fall of 2013 began my experience as an academic tutor for the Student Success Center on campus. I tutored courses in chemistry, biology, accounting, computer science, math, statistics, psychology and economics. It was an ongoing learning experience to be a tutor because I was able to constantly refine my abilities and communication tactics to better help students with their studies.

My extensive background in triathlon gave me the knowledge necessary to coach current and aspiring triathletes. I worked as a coach for Provision Health & Performance in Knoxville. While my main expertise was coaching for the running portion of a triathlon, I have experience coaching successful triathletes in swimming, biking, and running.
