I have worked with PSAV since 2005 I started out in the Hotel Division where i worked at the Legacy Marriott in Plano, TX. Once we closed that property down I was transferred to the Hotel Intercontinental in Addison TX I then Transferred to AVHQ Location 1990 Convention, Trade Show and Entertainment Division of PSAV. Shortly after my Transfer the division was rebranded as PSAV CTS or Presentation Services Audio Visual Convention and Tradeshow Division. Then it was changed to PSAV Premier Global Events and that is where it is now. I traveled with this division from 2007-2012 5yrs of travel in which i then was given the title of Lighting,Rigging and Power Department Lead for PSAV PGE. I was in that role from Jan 2012 - Feb 2016. In March of 2016 I elected to take on a different role within this division which is in our Service and Repair Department also know as Quality Control Department. I am currently listed as a Repair Technician who has multiple specialities. Basically i am the Short Stop of my Division. I can Operate, Setup, Maintain, Fix and Run a Crew for pretty much every piece of equipment owned. I may not be as proficient on some items as others may be but none the less i could make it work and get it through the show. Because of this i focus on Maintaining our Video/Camera/Screen Broadcast Switching Systems, Our High End Broadcast Camera's and Projector's. I am also a Certified Martin Moving Light Repair Technician and a Certified German Light Product (GLP) Moving Light Repair Technician along with many other certifications however to many to list. So that is what i do for PSAV now, and i can say honestly that i am enjoying my new role. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me next.
