• The Office of Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41 [R])• Principal Department of Defense representative for the CA-41 Congressional District; serving as the Congressional liaison to the City Councils, Chamber of Commerce, school board members, veterans, and all constituents alike.• Responsible for managing the Military and Veteran Affairs portfolios; represent CA-41 Congressional District at local events and meetings on behalf of the Congressman.• Created the Veteran Advisory Council; which provides guidance and support for constituents on issues related to military, veterans, and family members.• Hosted first-ever CA-41 Veteran Service Organization (VSO) Roundtable with the member; 15+ VSOs in attendance; an open forum for VSOs to discuss local veteran issues needing federal assistance.• Primary Veteran Affairs Caseworker; offering actionable and timely federal support through Congressional Inquiries related to VHA and VBA for veterans and dependents.• Member of the ‘FRIENDS OF VETERANS’ initiative; established in 2022 to benefit veterans• Assisted in crafting a one-of-a-kind Chairman of Defense Appropriations challenge coin to award

• The Office of Congresswoman Linda Sanchez (CA-38 [D])• Worked with the Small Business Administration, and Small Business Development Center to successfully assist local small business owners with EIDL, and PPP loans after the passage of the CARES Act, helping small businesses receive over $100,000 in loans.• Congressional App Challenge Coordinator; in charge of outreach, application review, review board coordination, and acting STEM liaison.• Resolved various constituent casework inquiries ranging from veteran’s affairs, active-duty military service members, passports, public safety, IRS stimulus checks, housing, small business, and immigration; resulting in over $1.2+ million retroactive pay.• Performing legislative work to include propositions, resolutions, and bills; assisted with expanding wounded veteran accessibility for HUD-assisted housing programs.
