My role as Program Director at Capitol Helicopters is focused on helping to develop the people, processes, and platforms needed for our growing organization to be successful. I seek to bring a strategic focus to the actions we invest in, and ensure that they are aligned with broader organizational goals. In this role I have the pleasure of working with a dedicated team of professionals to promote organizational growth and adaptation to changing business demands.Some specific areas of responsibility include:- Ensure facilities are optimized and support operational objectives- Direct Internal Evaluation Processes that support Quality Assurance - Work with leadership to set strategic goals, priorities, and objectives for improvement programs.- Optimize workflows between functional teams and with other internal stakeholders.- Coordinate with department managers and other stakeholders to create implementation plans. This includes deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols.- Develop processes for monitoring performance and collaborating with functional teams to plan improvement efforts.- Ensure that adopted processes are socialized, receive buy-in from key stakeholders, and successfully integrated.- Audit adopted processes as needed to promote uniform adherence, and confirmation of continued compliance.- Incorporate change, risk, and resource management activities into operational plans.- Serve as an internal resource to leadership for assistance with organizational design and process development to support reliable growth. - Promote effective communication within the organization.

North America

- Managing strategic and operational planning functions related to farming activities throughout North and South America- Leading cross-functional teams representing multiple levels of the enterprise in focused tactical collaborations to identify key planning assumptions and align on execution details- Auditing planning processes across Driscoll's global enterprise, and identifying process improvements within a defined scope of potential remedies and/or resources- Managing the creation and utilization of planning models to quantify and disseminate clear operational direction- Ensuring team alignment with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) requirements- Budgeting and financial accountability for operational cost centers- Collaborating cross-functionally to direct product movement through the supply chain in the most efficient manner while meeting customer requirements and expectations

Redding, California Area

- Managing the Nursery Planning Team with responsibilities for international operational planning based on customer demand across a five-year horizon. - Facilitating and organizing the ongoing exchange of information with suppliers and customers throughout North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.- Managing the creation and utilization of forecasting models to create multi-cycle production requirements based on Customer demand, and disseminating clear operational plans.- Organizing cross-functional meetings incorporating multiple levels of the enterprise in focused tactical collaborations to identify key planning assumptions and aligning on execution details- Budgeting and financial accountability for operational cost centers- Collaborating cross-functionally to direct product movement through the supply chain in the most efficient manner while meeting customer requirements and expectations

Redding, California Area

- Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to determine nursery planning assumptions for both field-grown and greenhouse locations throughout the US and Canada.- Managing the allocation of production orders to multiple facilities reflecting alignment with assumptions regarding: capacities, efficiencies, contractual obligations, phytosanitary requirements, plant physiology, and budgetary considerations. - Managing seasonal operations for the processing and packing of approximately 30 million Strawberry plants
