I am a graduate of Rutgers University School of Communication with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies. During my senior year I interned at Madison Square Garden Network in the On-Air Promotions department writing scripts to be read by talent during sporting events. From 2005 until 2014 I worked as a Multimedia Editor for NBATV and NBA.com. This entailed editing game content and behind the scenes content which I edited into highlights and feature packages to be viewed on the internet and television. In 2009 I obtained a Video Editor position at MLB Network which I worked concurrently along with my position at NBATV. This job entailed watching games and editing them down into highlights and writing scripts for on-air talent to read on television. During my time at MLB Network I was the recipient of 4 Emmy Awards. In 2010 I attended the Cape May County Police Academy as I shifted my career into Law Enforcement. I was hired in January of 2012 by the Caldwell Police Department. I worked as a Patrolmen for the next 11+ years. This job required enforcing laws, building trust in the community, providing medical attention to those in need among many other tasks. During my time as a Police Officer I became a Field Training Officer tasked with training new hires. I also was the recipient of multiple awards including; Criminal Apprehension, Life Saving, Exceptional Service and the NJ MADD award which is given to the Officer with the most DWI arrests in a calendar year for the department. After leaving law enforcement I pursued a job in sales with Frito Lay which I held until my wife and I moved to South Carolina. Once in South Carolina I obtained a sales position for GOL Security which specializes in home defense systems. I also received my real estate license and I am currently a real estate agent with Lively Charleston Properties.
