In this role, I designed programs to entertain and educate the children as well as defining camp rules and procedures to ensure the proper care, safety, and enjoyment of all camp residents. My responsibilities included providing leadership and direction to campers, overseeing daily schedules, and planning impromptu activities. Additionally, I facilitated training and coached campers on a variety of outdoor activities including rock climbing, swimming, and survival techniques.

To develop my mechanical skills and acquire an understanding of maintenance and repair operations I took a summer position participating with a pipeline maintenance crew. During my tenure I performed diverse labour tasks and assisted with valve replacement operations. I participated in carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs on equipment, well shacks, and leases to increase operational efficiency. Further, I developed an in-depth understanding of health and safety regulations through adherence to company protocols.

A seasonal position where I performed daily tasks as directed which included mowing the lawn, cleaning grain bins, bucking up fallen trees for firewood, and performing maintenance on farm vehicles and machinery. The role introduced me to complying with all safety requirements.
