I am a Board Certified Critical Care Physician who has traveled throughout the United States doing Locums work. I completed my fellowship in critical care from Mercy St. Louis / St. Louis University in 2013. My military experience instilled in me the desire to serve and the ability to quickly transition to fit new situations, which led me to locums tenens work. As I constantly dealt with non-doctor tasks like scanning files, sending emails, answering phone calls or texts, and feeling like I never had any personal time for home and family, I often found myself thinking, “There’s got to be a better way to do this!” My vision for Personal Medical Assistants was born. I found an assistant with the experience and professional abilities my work required, my life suddenly opened up again giving me time and focus for my patients and my personal life, and FreeUpMD was born
