-FP&A-Cost Accounting

- Assist in annual recost of over 60,000 parts, at the part number level, to set the following fiscal year's standard cost and to value inventory for global manufacturing plants- Understanding and analysis of parent material cost, including the bill of material, labor hours, machine routings, and labor rates to determine an explanation for senior management of what is driving cost on parts that have high unfavorable variances in the current fiscal year compared to the next fiscal year- identify cost drivers for targeted improvement actions - Utilize SAP reports, Tableau dashboards, and Excel to perform many different cost analysis tasks - Continually reduce material cost ownership errors. Major reduction of errors, 86%, early in role- Aid in capacity planning in relation to standard hours earned (SHE)- cost recovery analysis- initiate cost savings act with procurement team in effort to improve materials planning efficiency and take advantage of scaled pricing offered by vendors
