I recently completed my PhD in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience, for which I researched the impact of mindfulness meditation on cognitive and neural function. I'm looking to start a career in a role that uses my advanced skills in research, evaluation, data analysis, and communication. ✳️ I am trained in a number of different research methods, with particular expertise in experimental design, EEG, psychophysiology, and the use of cognitive tasks. ✳️ I have extensive experience in programming cognitive experiments, running research participants, data wrangling, data visualisation, and advanced data analysis methods (e.g., time-frequency analysis, multilevel modelling, cluster-based permutation tests) ✳️ I have a strong background in applied statistics, and am skilled in both hypothesis-driven and exploratory data analysis, having analyzed data from more than 9 completed cognitive science experiments.✳️ I am skilled in project management, team collaboration, presentations, and written communication.✳️ I am skilled in the use of programming languages. I am particularly fluent in R, but also have familiarity with with SQL, Python, and Matlab. Outside of research, I love cricket, dogs, nature, and playing guitar.
