As part of a multidisciplinary research team, I played a significant role in leading the study through to its publication as a paper.• I led qualitative interviews with foundational data science students to gather pivotal insights, which informed the study's direction • Additionally, I performed comprehensive data analysis, deriving conclusions that shaped our findings• I authored key sections of the paper, including methodology and results, and conducted in-depth literature reviews to ensure a robust foundation for our research.

As part of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) cohort of Data Science Scholars in partnership with the Center for Women in Technology (CWIT), I served as a peer mentor to foundational data science students to support their success.• Mentored foundational data science students, providing individualized guidance on technical concepts such as Python programming, data visualization, and statistical analysis• Led interactive sessions on core data science techniques, teaching students to effectively wrangle and cleanse data, perform advanced table manipulations to extract actionable insights, and defining a model to inform decision-making• Collaborated with the primary instructor to develop and refine course materials, incorporating data science tools like NumPy and Pandas to cultivate student technical proficiency
