Having a diverse background in supporting manufacturing as a financial professional, I started at Oracle to become the financial partner within the recently acquired company, Micros. Oracle|Micros provides the crucial point of sale systems found in some of America's favorite hospitality and retail companies like Marriott, Starbucks, and Ralph Lauren.Working within Global Business Finance, my responsibility is to support the internal manufacturing of the supporting hardware and leveraging financial knowledge to help the VP of Logistics make informed financial decisions. Additionally, I work collaboratively across the organization to mange financial drivers and project the financial statements of the business area. Supporting the manufacturing facility I also review cost drivers and do analysis to ensure that the business is running efficiently and apply discounted cash flow models to new projects to gauge their impact.

I was previously a Financial Analyst for the Advanced Missions business area. Throughout this process I managed the financial aspects of programs within the area. This included evaluating the level of funding available, the spend rate of personnel working on the program and the hours that they have allocated. Responsibilities also included forecast financial information given the phase of the production and material receipts. My job also entailed out-year forecasting for the business area and monitoring internal projects that supported future business.My previous position within Northrop was in Subcontracts Cost Analysis where I evaluated vendor proposals for FAR compliance, and evaluated proposals for being "fair & reasonable" to both NG and the vendor. This included conducting audits of vendor supplied information including BOMs, Rates and Labor Hours & Wages.I have experience with monitoring the compliance of all programs within Electronic Systems according to the Earned Value guidelines, which are aligned with ANSI. The position also had me monitoring the CAR status of deficiencies and revising EV guidelines as necessary.
