I started my professional life working with my family. The family pet store business taught me many things through all of its unique challenges. Live animals and there constant needs taught me how to manage time and prepare for the many curveballs in business. I started my current path in the Fishing tackle industry as a telemarketer calling on accounts that the road reps didn’t have time to call on. Expanding the book from 3 scrap pieces of paper to 4 binders full of notes and a hand written call log was 2 years of my life that I would never trade for anything. The difficulty made me! I would not have explained it this way 20 years ago...Since then there have been challenges, failures, and many victories. I have enjoyed my teams, colleagues, and international co-workers. There have been many mentors along the way. Pet store manager/Telemarketer/Regional Rep/Product Manager/Global Brand Manager/Regional Rep and now in my current role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Accurate fishing. I am very grateful to have been a part of all the teams along the way and honored to be on a great team at Accurate.My wife of 19 years and my three Children have been along for the ride with me. They have always been supportive of every change that my career brings and they always laugh at my “Just one more cast” attitude!
