Justin Powers is the owner and founder of Marina Orchestra, a New Orleans based band, with over 15 years in leadership, writing, marketing and performing. He is currently recording and releasing new music and performing at music festivals, like New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo and French Quarter Fest. Marina Orchestra can be found on all streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.Justin has a bachelor’s degree in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. He has penned over 200 songs. In addition to Justin’s writing passion he is an avid environmental enthusiast and volunteers his time with local growing spaces like Speak Easy Farm and Faubourg Saint John Community Garden.
