Dr. Justin Raanan was born and raised in Beverly Hills. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles in Anthropology Biological Science (B.S). He further pursued his passion for dentistry at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Raanan earned his certificate in Periodontology and obtained a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in oral biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Justin Raanan is a highly trained specialist in the field of Periodontics and dental implants. He provides customized, patient-centered care and excels at applying his highly specialized esthetic surgical knowledge to solving his patients’ complex dental challenges. Dr. Raanan believes in a team approach to successfully address his patient goals. He is genuinely committed to ensuring that all his patients receive personalized, attentive care to help achieve their own individual oral health goals. He strongly emphasizes patient comfort and new minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Raanan has conducted and published clinical and scientific research in bone regeneration and implants dentistry. At Harvard he collaborated with Dr. Kevin Guze and developed an innovative lateral window graft-less sinus lift technique. His research was nominated for the 2015 Balint-Orban Memorial Prize by the American Academy of Periodontology. His research was also selected in 2016 by the Academy of Osseointegration for Implant Dentistry innovation. Dr. Raanan lectures nationally and internationally and is an active member of many professional associations. His passion to innovate and learn in the constantly evolving field of periodontics keeps him engaged to set a high standard of care in dental treatment.
