I am responsible for all professional and environmental clubs at York. As a Peer Mentor, I help student club representatives in their efforts to organize events, book space, promote etc. Peer Mentors are usually the first point of contact that student organization representatives communicate with when they have inquiries about any issue surrounding student organizations. - Regularly use Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Access to process information regarding student organizations and document their history at York. - Run workshops to encourage student organizations to network and work together on large scale initiatives. - Present and enforce University policies and procedures to students through personal interactions and larger scale presentations.

Assisted students looking to quit smoking in obtaining resources to help them with that initiative. Created safe spaces for the dialogue of smoking cessation to take place to start a dialogue regarging smoking generally. Established different ways of communicating with people on issues that were often very sensitive. Participated in many other Health Education and Promotion initiatives around campus both in personal interactions and in large scale presentations as well.

Delegated tasks to be completed by staff in the restaurant. Resolved minor conflicts and issues with customers and employees alike. - Responsible for ensuring that customers received the optimal level of customer service at any given time. Performed administrative tasks such as inventory and data entry.
