Experienced Technical and Procedure writer with a demonstrated history working in writing and editing for a major bank as well as testing and repair manuals for a major construction and forestry equipment manufacturer. Proficient with many programs to complete daily tasks, e.g. Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teamcenter, OneNote, Arbortext Editor, Windchill, Adobe, Open Text, and other PDF editing and markup programs. As team lead, I managed and reported on project completeness, reviewed all drafts my team creates for technical accuracy, met with engineers and SMEs to communicate information requirements, and several other duties as they arose.I was also the President of the Iowa Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Association for eight years. The Iowa OHV Association is a non-profit group which works with OHV clubs around Iowa who manage the eight state OHV parks. The Association hosts strategic planning meetings throughout the year with the Iowa department of natural resources (DNR), various state lawmakers both at the state capitol and local events, our own board of directors, and those clubs who manage parks. We also hold quarterly meetings, a yearly larger member event and meeting, and a legislative breakfast at the capitol in Des Moines. I also work on state and federal grants and sit on review boards with each for our sport.
