Collaborate with the Project Director and other functional groups to develop clinical trial scopes of work and objectives. Assess feasibility of clinical projects, identify project priorities, enforce project time lines, and ensure that milestones are met. Operationalize, implement and manage clinical trial protocols at multiple study sites. Develop written materials to guide study sites in clinical trial execution. Collaborate with other functional groups to create, revise, implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOP) and internal procedural guidelines. Serve as a point of contact and guidance expert for assigned projects and studies. Organize and execute training for site principal investigators and study staff.

As the new member coordinator for the 2022-2023 academic year, I met with prospective clients to explain features of the HELPS facility during open hours. I was responsible for explaining costs, benefits, and the necessary medical information required to join the facility. Additionally responsible for creating comprehensive and confidential medical folders to accurately portray safety needs and/or concerns of new participants and was responsible for proper insurance billing. Lastly in this role I was responsible for notifying other staff of any risks new participants might have and obtaining the proper medical clearance prior to exercise if deemed necessary after an initial meeting.

As the graduate student teaching assistant for the Health and Exercise Science Human Gross Anatomy class, I assisted both with the standard lab and honors lab classes. In the honors class I helped demonstrate to 4th year undergraduate students the appropriate human cadaver dissection technique and specimen preparation to prepare cadavers for the standard lab class. In the standard class, I assisted Dr. Eaves with explanation of course material during lab sessions and occasionally substituted and taught lectures when necessary. I also coordinated open laboratory times and signups for students to interact with the cadavers and course material outside of class time to be successful in the course.

Assisted Dr. Fanning with ongoing research in the Behavioral Medicine Lab. Projects included VESPA, a virtual reality social connection pilot randomized controlled trial, MORPH-II, a randomized controlled trial working with individuals living with chronic pain in the North Carolina area, and GARMIN-PPG, an observational study comparing wrist and chest based heart-rate and skin pigmentation with varying exercise intensities. I gained knowledge in experimental design and interpretation of scientific research as well as patient data privacy and proper data storage methodology.

Staff member for Wake Forest University's Healthy Exercise and Lifestyle ProgramS fitness facility. Provided support and encouragement in training programs. Taught Silver Sneakers group exercise sessions and introduced fitness machines and equipment to interested clients. Opened and closed facility and charged with proper cleanliness and hygiene of facility.

Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide for Mission Physical Therapy Group. Worked with patients to provide support and encouragement and guidance through prescribed rehabilitation exercises. Assisted PTs in patient intake and tasked with running the clinic smoothly and professionally.

Summer camp counselor and Mentor for the Leader In Training (L.I.T.) program. Walden West is operated by the Santa Clara County Office of Education and their summer programs offer the opportunity to engage with environmental and outdoor exploration themes. Responsibilities included assisting staff with managing groups of 15-20 K-12 campers, training new counselors in safety, responsibility, and risk management, and orchestrating every week a slideshow and video series to help culminate in a graduation ceremony for the leaders in training to become fully fledged counselors.
